This notice explains, under Article 10 of Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), how personal data collected through teambirlik.com is processed. The Turkish version is the binding text.

teambirlik is a real estate advisory team working within Keller Williams Alesta, Viya and Orsa.
Personal data we process
- Identity: full name.
- Contact: phone number, e-mail address, the address of a property you want to sell or let.
- Request: the message you write in our forms, the listing and page you were on, your language.
- Security: an irreversible hash of your IP address, the time of the submission, technical logs.
- Commercial e-mail consent (only if you tick the box): your e-mail address, your name, the date of consent, the form where you gave it and the version of the consent text you were shown.
- Marketing cookies (only if you consent): online identifiers (cookie ID) through the Meta Pixel, the pages you visit, and actions on the site such as sending a form or clicking a phone or WhatsApp link.
The website has no visitor accounts; apart from the forms we do not ask for anything that identifies you.
Purposes
- To reply to your request and contact you,
- to provide real estate advisory services (buying, selling, letting, new developments),
- to value and market a property you want to sell or let,
- to meet our legal obligations,
- to keep the website and its forms secure and prevent abuse (spam, automated submissions),
- if you consent, to measure how our ads perform and show them to people who may be interested,
- if you tick the consent box, to send you commercial e-mails such as market updates, guides and our newsletter.
Legal bases
- KVKK Art. 5(2)(c): processing is directly related to entering into or performing a contract (the service you ask for),
- KVKK Art. 5(2)(ç): compliance with a legal obligation of the data controller,
- KVKK Art. 5(2)(f): our legitimate interests (information security, service quality), provided your fundamental rights are not harmed,
- KVKK Art. 5(1): your explicit consent (marketing cookies and the Meta Pixel). You can withdraw it at any time through the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of the site.
- KVKK Art. 5(1) and Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce: your explicit consent and approval for commercial e-mails. You can withdraw it at any time through the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of every e-mail or by writing to bilgi@teambirlik.com; withdrawing does not affect processing already carried out on the basis of your consent.
How we collect data
Electronically, through the contact, information, guide download and valuation forms on the website and the newsletter signup in the footer; security data is collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare). If you accept marketing cookies, data about your actions on the site is collected automatically by the Meta Pixel.
Recipients
- The Keller Williams Alesta office and the consultant handling your request,
- our hosting and infrastructure provider Cloudflare, Inc.,
- only if you accept marketing cookies, our advertising provider Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.,
- only if you consent to commercial e-mails, Google, the provider of Google Workspace, where we keep our mailing list and from which we send the e-mails,
- when you type an address in the valuation form on the Sell page, Google, the provider of Google Maps Platform, receives the address text you type and the address you choose, so that address suggestions can be shown,
- public authorities, when required by law.
Transfers abroad
The website and forms run on Cloudflare, Inc. infrastructure; your personal data may be processed and stored on servers outside Türkiye.
When you type an address in the valuation form on the Sell page, the text you type is sent through Google Maps Platform to Google and, through it, to servers outside Türkiye, so that we can show you address suggestions. The Google Privacy Policy explains how Google processes the data.
If you accept marketing cookies, Meta Pixel data is transferred to Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. and, through it, to servers outside Türkiye. This transfer is based on your explicit consent under KVKK Art. 9; the Meta Privacy Policy explains how Meta processes the data.
If you consent to commercial e-mails, your e-mail address, your name and the consent details are transferred to Google Workspace, the service we use to keep our mailing list and send the e-mails, that is to Google and, through it, to servers outside Türkiye. This transfer is based on your explicit consent under KVKK Art. 9; the Google Privacy Policy explains how Google processes the data.
Retention
- Form requests: 2 years after the last contact, then deleted.
- Hashed IP addresses: 30 days.
- Records that the law requires us to keep longer: for the period the law sets.
Your rights
Under KVKK Art. 11 you may ask the data controller:
- whether your personal data is processed and, if so, for information about it,
- the purpose of processing and whether it is used for that purpose,
- which third parties in Türkiye or abroad receive it,
- to correct incomplete or inaccurate data, to delete or destroy it under the conditions of KVKK Art. 7, and to notify these actions to the third parties who received it,
- to object to a result against you that arises solely from automated analysis,
- for compensation if you suffer damage because of unlawful processing.
